Commercial Finance Analyst

Location: Bankstown, NSW

Salary Package: $120 – $125K + Super & Bonus

Role highlights: Commercial Analyst role for a well known FMCG business in South West Sydney, supporting NPD and Marketing spend.

Role Overview

This role is being recruited due to internal mobility and growth. Working in a supportive team environment and led by a future focussed line manager with recent examples of internal progression throughout the team, this role will have key responsibility for supporting the Marketing team with analysis, reporting, review and business partnering. The role has a heavy emphasis on New Product Development and requires both excellent communication skills alongside financial analysis and development of business critical reporting.

Responsibilities

• Commercial support and Business Case preparation surrounding New Product Development
• Stakeholder engagement to ensure costs align with budget
• Cost and Margin Analysis
• Periodic Reporting, Analysis and Commentary
• Process improvement where necessary

Candidate Profile

This role is a brilliant opportunity for a CA / CPA Qualified or close to Financial or Commercial analyst with experience of working with non-finance stakeholders, ideally in an FMCG or Manufacturing environment who is looking to develop their Business Partnering and Commercial Support skills. If you are a strong user of MS Excel and/ or Power BI, this will be viewed positively. Further on in this role there will be an opportunity to be involved with the development of a new analytical tool.
