Qualified Auto Body Collision Technicians are required for a national Collision Center in Burnaby, British Columbia. Reliable, and certified Technicians will integrate into an established team while providing quality repairs and restore services to damaged motor vehicle body parts.
Auto Body Collision technician that excel in this role should have experience with Auto Body and Vehicle Maintenance, the ability to manage exterior and interior finishing; repaint body surfaces; repair and/or replace automotive glass and repair defective automobile body parts, and fix damage to the bodies of newly assembled or used cars.
Job Duties:
Repair & replace front end & body components, doors, frame & under-body components
Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers
Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
Requirements:
Certified Auto Body and Collision Technician
Driver s license
Pre-employment background checks
COMPENSATION
* $90,000 – $150,000+/year on flat rate and bonus system
Experienced Techs are billing 80+ hours per week.
Bonus Tiers: Extra compensation for exceeding the semi-monthly threshold of billed time: (110 134 hours) (135 160 hours) (161++ hours)
