Our client is a well-known Group within the Consumer Services industry based in Melbourne CBD, they are seeking a experienced Manager of Finance Business Partnering to join their high performing Finance team on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities:

  • Model good leadership to inspire direction and delivery, develop people, and drive change.
  • Partner with, and influence, business units and senior leaders to deliver strategic financial insights and help drive business performance, ensuring high quality financial decisions are made in the business unit.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships across the business and working closely with the ELT team to formulate the business’s medium to a long-term financial and strategic plan.
  • In conjunction with the FP&A Manager, develop, lead, coordinate and consolidate the budgeting and forecasting processes across AMS Group, working collaboratively with the ELT to manage and deliver budgets and plans effectively against agreed business KPIs.
  • Lead and perform the month end process to prepare and deliver monthly financial reports inclusive of sales and financial performance and analysis, always ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Enter and approve financial journals in the ERP system.
  • Provide periodic reporting for senior management including the monthly CFO report and be responsible for commentary on performance, reflecting key business issues and accurately forecasting the yearend out turn.
  • Undertake regular financial assessments of business performance, including profitability, and report on trends and opportunities for operational stakeholders to consider. Solve complex business problems through financial analysis. Provide recommendations to management on financial inherent risks.

What we are looking for:

  • 3 – 5 years in a similar roles
  • CA / CPA qualified
  • Previous experience in managing teams – Essential
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships
  • Experience in identifying and implementing service improvements
  • Ability to prioritise and manage expectations
  • Problem Solving ability.
  • High level of accuracy.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Work independently.
  • Highly analytical.
  • Proactive
