As a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator, you’ll play a crucial role in producing high-quality radio equipment and ancillary products. Your work ensures our surface mount production lines operate efficiently, maintaining high standards while minimising waste.

This dynamic role involves working with a variety of equipment and components, offering a diverse range of tasks across your weekly shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with or operate the surface mount technology line, including automatic assembly equipment.
• Handle components, set up, and adjust equipment to meet production and delivery needs.
• Collaborate with the wider surface mount team to address issues and share progress updates.
• Solve machine and placement issues, perform quality inspections, and rework when needed.
• Follow established safety and efficiency procedures.
