Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom Shopify themes and apps. You will work closely with the design and marketing teams to bring e-commerce projects to life and ensure the website delivers a seamless and user-friendly experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Shopify Development:
- Build, maintain, and enhance custom Shopify themes.
Site Optimization:
- Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with the design team to translate mockups and wireframes into responsive, high-quality code.
App Integration and Management:
- Integrate third-party services and apps as required (e.g., payment gateways, analytics tools).
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure consistent cross-browser compatibility and site performance.
Maintenance and Updates:
- Regularly update the Shopify platform, themes, and apps.
Skills
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
- 6+ years of experience with Shopify’s Liquid template language.
- Proven experience as a Shopify developer with a deep understanding of Shopify’s architecture, APIs, and ecosystem.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to identify and resolve technical challenges.
