Heavy Duty Truck Driver

Duties & Key Responsibilities

• Operate tractor and trailer unit to
  deliver various loads and goods to customers throughout Ghana
• Load, handle, and transport goods and cargo
  in a safe and responsible manner
• Conduct routine maintenance and service
  for assigned vehicle
• Manage logs and records per company
  operating procedures
• Represent the company in a professional
  and courteous manner at all times
• Adhere to local traffic laws and other
  regulations
• Maintain license F driver license and
  coordinate the annual DVLA requirements for assigned vehicle
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:

• Must possess a high sense of integrity
  and reliability
• A license F driver’s license
• Must possess at least Junior High
  School or related certification
• 5 years’ experience driving a tractor /
  trailer unit
• Must have previous experience driving
  DAF XF, CF and Howo tractors
• Possess good knowledge and
  understanding of routine vehicle maintenance and service procedures
• Proven ability to manage and maintain vehicle,
  tool kits, and related accessories or equipment
• Must have no history of accidents
• Must have no criminal record
• Must be physically and mentally fit
• Possess good communication skills (both
  oral and written)
• Must speak and write Proficient English
• Must be able to travel within Ghana and
  internationally
